We just finished our second harvest of rhubarb. Thank you Betty and Emilia for a great job. We collected about 5.5kg or 12.5lbs of rhubarb. Betty's thinking rhubarb muffins, I'm thinking stewed rhubarb and ice cream. There's so many delicious options.
Our bounty is split three ways between the home owner, the volunteers, and a community group. In this case, Elli (the home owner) graciously declined her third, knowing there's still plenty of rhubarb left for her. That left even more for the rest of us. We'll deliver a couple of bundles to Fred Tipping Place later this evening.
